This Saturday is the last message in the summer series at the Hospital Church where various voices from within the community share their faith experience. Monday: Unquantifiable Love 

Ephesians 3:18-19

And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.  May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

 

God of Unquantifiable Love, your care is eternal, and your compassion is without limits. You work tirelessly for the good of your creation and have paid the ultimate cost for its redemption. I live in confidence of your unending love. Thank you. Amen.

Tuesday: Defining Love

Matthew 10:7-8

Go and announce to them that the Kingdom of Heaven is near. Heal the sick, raise the dead, cure those with leprosy, and cast out demons. Give as freely as you have received!

 

God of Defining Love, you are a God of relationship. You desire the type of intimacy that changes hearts and lives. You blessed this world with your presence and left a legacy of mercy. May the grace with which you have covered me be shared abundantly. Amen.

Wednesday: Confident Love

Isaiah 41:9-10

I have called you back from the ends of the earth, saying, “You are my servant.” For I have chosen you and will not throw you away. Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

 

God of Enduring Love, you embrace without condition. Your love is sure, consistent in its strength and tenacity. Your mercy is not dependent on human action or response. I know I am your child, in whom you are well pleased. Amen.

Romans 5:8

But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.

 

God of Perfect Love, you do not motivate by fear. Your intention is to bring healing, wholeness, and redemption to what is broken and frail. You know me fully in my weakness and pride; yet you love me without measure. Thank you for your saving grace. Amen.

God Who Loves All People, you cherish your creation. You show no partiality; your love is extravagant and abundant. Help me to see others as you see me—treasured, worthy, accepted, and immeasurably loved by you. Amen.
